Every sensor comes with 5 years of basic cloud services at no additional cost. That means you don't need to set up or run a server: the devices work out of the box. You can access the past 30 days of data from any sensor, anywhere in the world via our Hamilton Cloud Dashboard. Here you can monitor every aspect of your deployments, including gateway health and sensor signal strength.

Available features include: real-time email alerts, unlimited data archival, integrations for analysis software, data export, low-latency streaming and a fully OpenAPI compliant REST interface compatible with hundreds of third party tools. Advanced functionality can be unlocked on a per-sensor as-needed basis.
UC Berkeley, a pioneer in wireless sensor network technology, is actively developing a new generation of wireless sensor nodes offering improved security, accuracy and cost. All that research -- the hardware designs and firmware -- is open source and available on GitHub. Unlike software however, open source hardware has a high barrier to adoption: manufacturing hardware is hard. Then once you have the hardware, you need servers to process and store the data! This can be a dealbreaker for many of the people who stand to benefit most from this technology.
